Jessianne Castle grew up in Bozeman, Montana where she was nurtured by a healthy dose of curiosity and plenty of time outside. After graduating with honors from Montana State University, she dove into her freelance writing and editing career. As a Montana-based writer and editor, Jessianne has explored many of the lesser-trodden pockets of the state and has had the pleasure of meeting many of the people who bring color to Montana’s distinct Western culture. She considers herself a life-long student of solutions journalism and is particularly interested in thoughtful storytelling. She now lives with her family in a tucked-away meadow west of Kalispell. She is currently the editor in chief for Big Sky Journal and the managing editor for Western Art & Architecture.
